Assistance and the waitlist
Assistance and how to apply
Some families here pay with state child care assistance. Ask us whether assistance is open this month, and we'll tell you where to start.
Call the office and ask for Verenice Palma, our family services coordinator. She'll tell you whether assistance is open, which papers to bring and which room has a place or a waitlist. If you'd rather come in, book a tour and bring your questions.

A bill or a letter with your address.

The waitlist
What the waitlist is
- 01
Step 1: How you join
When the room you need is full, you join the waitlist at the end of your application. Verenice tells you which room and schedule you're listed for.
- 02
Step 2: Who is called first
Families who already have a child here come first, then families in the order they applied.
- 03
Step 3: When a place opens
Verenice calls the first family and gives them a few days to answer. If they can't take the place, she calls the next family, and yours stays where it is.
A few more questions
What if assistance isn't open this month?
Ask us again next month, and tell us if you'd like to join the waitlist in the meantime for the room you need.
What if I have two children?
A second child in the family is handled differently. Verenice puts the terms in writing at the tour.
What if I need to leave?
We ask for two weeks' notice, in writing or in person. If your assistance changes, tell Verenice early and she'll talk through your options with you.
Will you promise me a place?
We can't promise a place to every family, and we won't say a room is open when it isn't. We'll tell you plainly where your family stands.
