How tuition works
Cicely gives you the figures in writing at the tour, for the room and schedule you need.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on your child's room, the schedule you choose and how many days a week your child comes. Thimble is a nonprofit, and the board reviews tuition each year. Cicely puts the figures in writing at the tour.

Registration
Registration opens your child's enrollment file and puts your child on the roll. It's paid once, when you hand in the application.
Holding a place
We hold a place once we have your application and registration, and what you pay to hold it goes toward your first month's tuition. If the room is full, your family joins the waitlist and we call families in order when a place opens.
Billing
Tuition is billed weekly and paid at the front desk by card or check, or through the parent portal. If a payment is late, Verenice talks with you before anything changes.
Some families here pay with state child care assistance. Ask us whether assistance is open this month, and Verenice will help you apply and tell you what to bring.
Siblings
A second child in the family is handled differently. Ask Verenice at the tour, and she'll put the terms in writing.
Withdrawing
We ask for two weeks' notice before your child leaves, in writing or in person. The weeks that remain are billed as usual.
