Room by room

What each room is like

  • Infants

Cribs in a quiet room, a mat on the floor and a rocking chair. Families tell us how and when each baby eats and sleeps, and we follow it.

    • Six weeks to two years

    • Bring milk or formula and a change of clothes

  • Twos

Low shelves, a play kitchen and short circle times. Teachers help each child with the routines of the day, one at a time.

    • Two to three years

    • Bring a change of clothes

  • Threes

Blocks, paint, books and songs, with a little more time at the table and a little more time outside.

    • Three to four years

    • Bring a change of clothes and a rest-time blanket

  • Fours

Stories, counting games, the letters of their own names and a lot of time in the yard. We talk with each child about the move to kindergarten.

    • Four to five years

    • Bring a change of clothes and a rest-time blanket
